You've all heard of 'the Best' of a band, a cheap way of getting a new album without any extra work. :rolleyes:

:music: I want people to suggest tracks for the The Worst of TMBG. The top 10 most disliked will go on the 'album' in order of unpopularity.

Those of you who can't possibly dislike any TMBG song, just post the tracks you feel most strongly neutral about. :D

I don't want to step on your toes but let me just say I LOVE I'LL SINK MANHATTAN.

Anyway, the only song I "feel strongly neutral" (I love that because I really don't hate any of their songs) about is "The Day". I've heard many, many, many people say they don't like this song. I get what they're talking about but it's just too slow and dull for me.

Feel free to disagree with anyone else's choice of worst. This will help me in deciding how to order the tracks on the 'album'. B)

Toddler Hiway, The day.
Lincoln doesn't have a bad song.
Neither does Flood.
For science is irritating, and Manhattan.
Spider and the guitar on Apollo are both irritating.

I can't stand the song Chaos By Design. I have absolutely no problem with Robin singing the song, but I don't think it sounds like a song TMBG would write at all.

I don't like O, Do Not Forsake Me.

I think it's really slow and boring, and I don't like the guy's voice that much (didn't Wilbur Pauley sing it? Or something like he arranged the vocals?).

I usually leave it out when I make TMBG playlists on my ipod. Unless I forget and copy the whole John Henry album on there, then I have to skip over it.

the only 2 songs that i don't particularly interest me are hering air (cuz of the sound thing at the end) and about me (because of the HUUUUGE pause) i keep having to get my CD player out of my pocket and skipping it when it's over.
It gets annoying. other than that, there's not one i hate. they are all awsome

Neither is Fish Heads, Drink (not Drink!), .... years ago when AudioGalaxy was king, all these turned up and consequently were falsley dragged into TMBG lore.

I know fish heads wasn't them, still pretty funny though :D

There are several songs for which the Johns are unjustly given the blame: the Beer Song (I love that), 88 lines about 44 women, Banana Slug (or something) and those already mentioned.

I know this off-topic (o-t) so I'll just post some real TMBG tracks I hate. :music:
