I haven't found too many people who have even heard of them, so I guess I'll look here now. If you don't know who Live are, they do "Lightning Crashes", "I Alone", "Selling The Drama", and "All Over You", among others.

My favorite Live song: "Operation Spirit", their very first single. The music video for it was made with $500 and a handy-cam.

I like the Throwing Copper CD. And the song Freaks, although the rest of that CD is a bit lost on me.

I should probably investigate them a bit more. But can't decide if I like the guy's voice or not.

The album Secret Samadhi, which "Freaks" is on, was written while the band was tipsy in Jamaica. That explains for the trite lyrics on most of the songs. As for Ed's voice, yeah, it's an acquired taste.


Live's gonna be playing here on August 27. What better way to see one of my favorite sports teams and one of my favorite bands on the same day at the same venue? Awesome, I say!
