Reading some of the older topics on this forum, I came across the 'Don't Read This...' thread and it reminded me of the 'I Hate Music' blog by Tanya Headon. Back in 2001 she ran a daily feature called 'Ten Songs Which Were Not Written by They Might Be Giants But Which Nevertheless Would Fit Into Their Benighted Canon With Nary A Second Look'.

It was obviously written by someone with more than just a passing interest in the band and their music, and I actually think it's quite amusing.

Because of the way in which the blog has been archived, songs 10 to 3 can be found in the January 2001 section (here), and songs 2 and 1 are in the February 2001 section (here).

And it's not just TMBG in the firing line - just about any band you've ever liked gets slated too! :P
