Title: A Quick Preview of My Website
Description: Rather junky still, it needs tweaking
Doodles - November 6, 2004 03:13 AM (GMT)
Mental Shock- My websiteThe above link is to a .swf preview of my website in progress. Keep in mind that since it's only a preview of what I'm currently working on, it's kind of pixelated, there isn't much there yet, and some stuff doesn't work at this time. If you go to the links page on there (second red button) and click the text of the websites listed (IE: tmbg.com) they should pop the particular website up in a new window. Nifty, and yet so ridiculously simple. Some of the buttons don't do anything when you click them, the reason is that they don't have a particular page assigned to them yet, so fear not, eventually they will do something.
Comments and suggestions are most appreciated, seeing as I have no idea what the website is going to be about.

You should make your website be about what the universe will be like when you rule it. With added video illustrations of anti-gumchewer missiles and how you're gonna make 25 hour days (25 o'clock!!).

Durr... It works for me because I'm logged in as the admin. of my squarespace account and that's the only person who has access to it. I have to change the permissions... somehow.

Sorry for double posting, but this
is my topic... :P
Okay... try
this , and when you get there you have to "download" the little .swf file. (You don't actually have to download it, I believe it just pops up a little resource window.) Sorry for the inconvenience.
Again, please keep in mind that this website is still in a formative stage, so bear with me.

It still doesn't work, it asks what program to open the swf file in and I don't have one ;)

Do you have FlashPlayer?
My website runs in the same thing as the TMBG Clock Radio... So if you use the Clock Radio, do whatever you do to get that running on your particular platform. I'm pretty isolated to Macintosh, and that file just pops up it's own application. It's not because I'm on the root computer either, I tried it on all of the machines in my house that run OSX and it worked fine.
In other words, I haven't a clue why it doesn't work because I'm pretty retarded when it comes to Windows/Linux/Anything besides Macintosh.

I opened mine uing shockwave and it worked. The sight is great. Now you get to tutor me in flash, im been messing around with it and photoshop and illustrator for ever to no avail. It sucks. I wish macromedia and adobe made their programs more user friendly

I think my head is going to explode. Adobe and Macromedia products NOT USER FRIENDLY? I think they're the most hideously easy applications to understand!
[insert explody head here]

maybe i'm just stupid, haha
your are running it on mac right??? maybe that has something to do with it
mrhorrible - January 31, 2005 03:35 PM (GMT)
Photoshop is hideously un-userfriendly. Flash is, well, like flash.
I mean, just Photoshopping a picture of 5 people with duck's heads can take up to 15 minutes.

I don't think Photoshop is unfriendly... But then again, I've been playing/messing around with that since I was nine... Nevermind. I'll be quiet now.
Sketch-Up is a fun piece of software. Terribly simple minded 3-D cel-shaded thingy-maker. Lots of fun. Kinda 'spensive.
