Hey Everybody! Flansburgh here.

Happy to report many things are happening in the
TMBG camp. We are off the road for the time being,
but the best of The Spine tour is currently being
compiled and mixed and, yes, a special bonus disc
of "Venue Songs" will be included. We will be taking
advance orders momentarily (but not yet!) so we
can avoid getting buried under thousands more
orders than anticipated-with a mail order delivery
aimed at late Nov. for all your gift giving needs.

Let's hope they don't ship stuff without getting the covers back from the printers this time. ;)

Ooo..I think we discussed this before. So..this WILL be an actual CD? Not just something you have to download on the computer?

Well since he said "disc" I suppose it will be. Oft times Flansy is incorrect in information, but that's usually only when he gives it by word of mouth. The stuff in the email is generally always right, unless they do a follow-up saying they were wrong.

Actually, I just saw a cover of a CD that looked like it might be it..

Lemme go see if I can find where I saw that.

Ah ha! Go here and look at what it says about "The Spine on the road" there.

The Spine Hits the Road (which is what that picture is of) has been available for download on the iTunes music store for quite some time now.

Edit: Since August 31, to be exact.

Yeah..but I want it on CD dangit!

I would think that the cd will be totally different - I hope so, because I heard that several people were disappointed. I wouldn't know, of course, cause I can't get iTunes.
