Well, songs are leaking... not that it'll stop me buying the album or going to any gigs, but I appear to have track 2 from "The Else", "Take Out The Trash".

It's funky, Flansy, and VERY promising! Bit of a return to a John Henry-ish sound, I think.

Very different from The Spine, that's for sure... it has potential....! :banana:

Lot's of people are complaining about how this song sucks. Honestly, I downloaded it but I have't listened to it yet aside from the first two seconds maybe. I'm hesitating because I don't know if I wanna hear the songs from the album until it's out. I'm going to NYC for their "Album release" show on May 16th although the actual album doesn't come out until July 10th now. The itunes version is out on the 15th. So I dunno what to expect at this show. It's nuts.

Not everyone hates it. But, a good majority of the people think that it's typical. Then they put up a big post about "Why has all of Flansburgh's songs sucked?"
