we have a Wii ordered, got an email saying it would definatly be delivered on the 8th....
So we waited in for the postman, and waited, and waited but alas by mid afternoon nothing had arrived. So we checked the website again and finally they had posted a note saying they had run out and we wouldnt be getting one yet.....

oh well cancelled order in disgust and shall wait now til new year
bought Zelda for the cube and am happily playing with that.
Not Nintendo's fault (well i guess they could have made more!) but the website we pre-ordered ot from should have warned us in advance *herrumph*

I now own 2 ps1s and 1 ps2, :D but I hate consoles which are supposedly 'better' than mine :angry:

The wii is a nice breath of fresh air...apart from the injuries it causes :rolleyes: within two days couldnt play it for a week after playing that wii sports you get free with it caused me to do my back in lol.
But yeah above everything its really fun, selection of games arent there quite yet but that'll change soon, who can complain with games like zelda and that Godfather game to keep you ocupied for a good few hours. And when the mario games start coming out that's it! Some say its a gimmick...they said that about the Nintendo DS which ended up putting the PSP to shame.
Havent had the Wii for more than a month yet, managed to get it in Morrisons of all places and apparently they get a steady stock (2-3 a week), just no-one thinks about going there but its deffinately worth getting if anyone can get their hands on one :)

played online against friends last night, was great.
